Habitat for Humanity

St. Boniface Church has been a decades-long partner (through grants and hands-on labor) with Habitat for Humanity Sarasota.

Habitat for Humanity is building a world where everyone has a decent place to live. They  build strength, stability, and self-reliance through homeownership for income-qualified families.

The mortgage terms offered by Habitat Sarasota keep the payments affordable and their critical home repair program is a resource for homeowners that need assistance with roof replacement, HVAC systems, and aging in place. Homes are funded through foundation grants, partnerships with local businesses and government agencies, and charitable gifts from individuals. Each home built requires hundreds of volunteers. Habitat Sarasota accepts donations of gently-used furniture and household items to sell in the ReStore to support their mission. Learn more at habitatsrq.org.
