Street Ministry

Our street ministry began with the onset of the Pandemic, occurring on Mondays as Resurrection House, providing services for the homeless, is closed on Mondays. With the Godsend of benefactors from friends in the Meadows, very significant dollars were given to spur on the ministry as it developed outside of the Salvation Army. Now the initial money is mostly spent, and the ministry continues to give clothing, cold bottled water (bought in cases each week) and protein snacks, ministering to about 90 people each week. These homeless folks are among the poorest in our community, most of them sleeping on the street each night, and are afflicted with a variety of ills and conditions.

Monetary gifts to St. Boniface are needed to support this work. Also, donations of clothing, socks, sneakers, and street clothes are always welcome and may be left in the parish office.
